Top hotels, spas and restaurants shined on the world stage at Haute Grandeur Global Award hosted at St. Regis Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Saturday, 19 October. Among the winners was Rhulani Safati Lodge; Our manager's couple Riaan and Carla received 3 awards.

Carla Baasden and Riaan Taljaard traveled from South Africa to Malaysia in order to personally receive the honorable awards. “The trip was an unforgettable, amazing experience in every way”, says Carla after her return.

More than 300 honored guests from around of the world gathered for the most magnificent celebration of the year; a night of opulence and acclamation. Carla and Riaan took a seat at a table in the festive hall, with a small number of other prizewinners from South Africa.

Three awards for Rhulani Safari Lodge

For Rhulani and especially for Carla, the long journey was well worth it, as we were honored with three awards:

• Best General Manager - Carla Baasden
• Best Bush Lodge - South Africa
• Best Game Lodge - South Africa
