Yesterday evening was a great, memorbale night at Rhulani Safari Lodge, not only because it was the celebration of New Year. We had a great dinner at the bushfire and a spectacular performance with local dances and singing by the Dipoo-tsa-Pina Arts Performers in our boma. Inspite of dark light, some nice sequences captured by our barman Ernest. Happy New Year!

In the open, shallow and dry field of Madikwe Game Reserve we find these three gorgeous giraffes. The animals posing in a unique scenery offer us a special sighting. Here the giraffes find water in the dry winter time.

The gate of the boma was opened for the three cheetah females one week before Christmas. Now we are curious how these magnificent animals will live their lives in the Madikwe Game Reserve, in freedom. We show you the first photos right after the release.
