In every safari lodge there is a curio shop. This is also the case in Rhulani, and we have a very nice one. It is located in the middle of the main area, right next to the swimming pool. Our Front of House employee Kyla is giving us a tour today.

Madikwe Game Reserve has just announced that the Guest Conservation Contribution - formerly known as «Conservation Levy» - will be adjusted effective 1 March 2023. The new daily fee will be ZAR 190 for adults and ZAR 95 for children younger than 12 years.

Today is a great day. Rhulani Safari Lodge glitters and shines better than ever. At the World Luxury Hotel Awards we were voted “Best Bush Lodge - Global Winner”. Rhulani’s owner Rolf accepts the award tonight at the gala ceremony in Antalya / Turkey and sends a special greeting and thank you on his blog.

Now the time has come, the joy is great. We are pleased to announce that Rhulani Safari Lodge has received certification for HACCP standards. This is another important step in our constant striving for the highest quality standards.

You shouldn’t necessarily watch TV when you visit a safari lodge. One should look out for wild animals and simply enjoy the wild nature. And yet: Rhulani offers certain possibilities to watch TV here too. Rolf explains how.

Entertainment for our little visitors during the day with an amazing result: the “Sand Art” produces wonderful artworks with motifs of the African bush.

Recently there is a small garden with natural aloe plants in front of the main pool at Rhulani Safari Lodge. This is the project of our Assistant Manager Daniel. Today Daniel introduces us to the project and we learn about the aloes.

Rhulani Safari Lodge is located in the heart of the Madikwe Game Reserve, where all kinds of wild animals roam freely, including the dangerous “Big 5”. A frequent question from guests is whether Rhulani has a fence for security reasons, so that the animals do not come into the camp. The answer is: yes and no.
