Rhulani Insights 096 – An eland in Rhulani's entrance sign

  • August 19, 2018 | Rhulani Safari Lodge

Look behind the scenes of Rhulani Safari Lodge.

Have you ever taken a closer look at our company logo? There is an antelope-like animal, in a special representation, which comes from an old bushman's painting, and which to our best knowledge represents an eland. Let's take a closer look at this with Rolf.

Just recently, we renewed the entrance sign to Rhulani Lodge and introduced our current Rhulani logo. Although we have made a while ago a little restyling of our logo, the essential part - the representation of a jumping eland - continued to exist.

The Eland is the largest antelope species on earth. With a bit of luck, you can discover this wonderful animal on a safari with us.

Rolf shows us in our blog today our new entrance sign, which shows all self-drivers the way to our lodge, and tells a bit about Rhulani's logo.

“The cavemen, when they saw the antelopes, they had to scratch them on to the caves because they needed to express the immediacy of what they were being affected by - and I love that. That is why I do what I do. I need to express myself.” – Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, Mexican Director

Stay tuned for next episode on Sunday 2 September 2018, when we find fresh lion tracks on a game drive.
