Rhulani Insights 101 – Madikwe's Conservation Levy

Look behind the scenes of Rhulani Safari Lodge.

Since 1 August 2017, all visitors to Madikwe are paying a so-called "Conservation Levy", in addition to the Gate Entry Fee. Thus, you make an important contribution to the preservation of beautiful wildlife, and in particular, to protect the rhinos from poachers.

For those people who are aware of the challenges around the protection of the wild animals, the introduction of the Conservation Levy about one year ago was much appreciated. Even our guests, who are making an additional contribution since then, do not question the new levy. Read more about the details here
