All of our luxurious guest chalets have a small, private plunge pool on the outside deck where you can cool off from the summer heat. Recently, we tested a system to heat the pools, so that you can use them also in winter time. Take a look!

The video you see today by Rolf and Riaan was filmed at the end of last winter when we tested a new pool heater in a guest chalet. The system should be energy efficient and quiet, but above all, the cold water should be heated to a comfortable temperature.

As temperatures often rise above 20 degrees on winter days, the use of an outdoor pool is actually desirable. Accordingly, we occasionally received suggestions to heat our pools. And now that we are at the beginning of a new winter season, we are ready. Our guests may look forward to using the plunge pool during the day.
