Rhulani Insights 128 – A chat at Inkwe pan

  • November 10, 2019 | Rhulani Safari Lodge

Look behind the scenes of Rhulani Safari Lodge.

Close to Rhulani Safari Lodge, there is a watering hole, the so-called "Inkwe Pan", which is supplied with water even during the dry season, and where, therefore, all sorts of animals often come to drink water. This is an ideal place for our blog today.

Rolf and Sean have settled on the landcruiser with a nice view of Inkwe Pan. On a safari with us, you will often go and have a look here as this place is so close to our lodge and because waterholes are always suitable places to find animals.

Today, Sean tells us some interesting details about Inkwe pan, including the difficulty of providing this place with constant water for the animals. This place is also ideal to just wait for a while and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the African bush.

“If you can reach out and touch and love and be with wildlife, you will forever be changed, and you will want to make the world a better place.” – Terri Irwin, American Scientist

Stay tuned for the next episode on Sunday 24 November when Rolf just takes a break in the room with a beautiful view of the reserve.
