Somewhere in the middle of the bush, Alasdair and Ralf found a mother lion with three cubs, which are around 11 months old. We see what a great privilege we have in Madikwe Reserve that we are allowed to go off-road for such sightings.

As the two experienced rangers tell us, they had set out on foot first and above all followed the warning calls of the birds in order to finally find this pride of lion in their hiding place.
