Rhulani Insights Special – Talking to Rhulani’s rangers

  • October 18, 2015 | Rhulani Safari Lodge

Look behind the scenes of Rhulani Safari Lodge.

For your entire stay at Rhulani, a qualified field guide, also called a "ranger", will be responsible for you to make sure that you have a first-class experience with the African bush and that you are well looked after around the clock. The figure of a ranger is accompanied by a certain mystic. It is a person who lives a very different life, beyond any civilization, adaptation, and in harmony with nature. Especially our children guests later want to also become a ranger.

In today's episode Rolf talks with the three rangers of Rhulani. How exactly does the daily routine of a ranger look like? Is a ranger’s life in the middle of the bush full of joy or are there any deprivations? Is it true that a ranger pursues his passion? Is there a "normal life" for a ranger, at a later stage, for example, in a city?

“Follow your passion, be prepared to work hard and sacrifice, and, above all, don't let anyone limit your dreams.” – Donovan Bailey, Olympic athlete

Meet our Ranger’s team today and see how these young people love the bush and do not mind to get up every morning before sunrise.

Stay tuned for next episode on Sunday 1 November 2015 and see how at Rhulani we welcome our arriving guests.
