Rhulani’s Five Star Grading confirmed by TGCSA

  • December 04, 2022 | Rhulani Safari Lodge

We've done it again: The annual evaluation by the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa (TGCSA) reveals that we continue to be solidly positioned in the 5-star category. The report specifically mentions how well we have weathered the COVID-19 pandemic and how a dedicated management team continues to strive for service excellence, making everyone's visit memorable.

The report does not mention any point to be improved or changed, on the contrary, the quality of the various areas in the lodge, the attention to detail, and the quality of service are repeatedly praised.

As “the most unique feature of the lodge”, the observation hide is mentioned, which you can reach via a tunnel, and you are then right at the water point and can see the animals up close. It says: "The hide is designed to blend in completely with its surroundings, where it is cleverly placed between rocks at the waterhole"

Because of this special highlight, we have been given a “Bird Accolade”. In fact, from the narrow windows, in addition to all the large animals that come to drink water, you can also observe many birds, of which there are over 400 species in Madikwe.
