It didn’t take long until I spotted the first Wildlife at Rhulani Safari Lodge in Madikwe. I literally just walked five steps to the outdoor lounge area, which offers an amazing view of Rhulani’s own waterhole, right in front of the lodge.
So whenever you are enjoying a luxury stay at Rhulani, do some “Elephant spotting” and game viewing right from the comfortable couches and observe what’s happening. Get your cameras ready, maybe have a drink, and enjoy an amazing safari experience from your sofa. Get a feeling for the South African bush in the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve before heading out onto your game drive.
During the day, Elephants and Zebra love to gather at the lodge’s waterhole as well as Warthog or Antelope. Once, I could even spot a Giraffe walking all the way to Rhulani’s waterhole on a hot day to find something to drink.
Maybe there is also a curious Lion coming by to say hello in the evening.
