Look behind the scenes at Rhulani Safari Lodge.
Today, Rolf and Ralf are sitting together on the vehicle, just about 4 meters away from a bull elephant standing calmly on the road, not budging an inch. Is he asleep? Today we're discussing whether and how elephants sleep.
I try and have a relaxed attitude and stay quite switched off until about an hour before kick-off.
This elephant isn't actually asleep, but he's definitely taking a break and is completely relaxed, even though we're standing very close to him.
We also notice that this bull isn't in musth and therefore should be in a good mood. Our expert Ralf has a few comments on that as well.
