A brighter future ... protected

- News, Community & Conservation

At Rhulani Safari Lodge, we are pleased to share a positive update on our recent community fundraising initiative for Supingstad Primary School. Following the successful installation of a new generator to provide reliable electricity to the school, we have now completed the construction of a protective roof over the generator — ensuring it is properly sheltered from the elements and safeguarded for long-term use.

The generator has already made a meaningful difference at the school, supporting lighting, teaching resources, and essential daily operations during frequent power interruptions. Adding this roof was an important final step, helping to extend the lifespan of the equipment, reduce maintenance needs, and ensure uninterrupted service for learners and educators alike.

This achievement reflects the generosity of our guests and supporters, as well as the dedication of our Rhulani team and local partners who helped bring the project to completion. We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to the original fundraiser and made this additional improvement possible.

At Rhulani Safari Lodge, we remain committed to creating sustainable, practical support for our neighbouring communities — and we look forward to continuing this journey together.
