Announcement: Travelife Gold certification successfully reconfirmed

After celebrating our first successful year as a Travelife Gold certified hotel — and as the 2nd hotel in South Africa to achieve this prestigious recognition — we have recently completed our intermediate assessment conducted by the independent evaluators from Travelife.

Following their review, we are delighted to confirm that Rhulani Safari Lodge has successfully maintained and reconfirmed our Travelife Gold certification.

The assessment, detailed in the Interim Certification Check-up Report, evaluated our continued alignment with global best-practice sustainability standards for hotels. The review reaffirmed our strong performance across key sustainability principles, including responsible environmental management, fair and ethical business practices, community engagement, and our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement.

This reconfirmation demonstrates that our sustainability efforts are not a once-off achievement, but an embedded and evolving part of how we operate every day — from conserving natural resources and protecting biodiversity, to supporting our local community and ensuring responsible tourism practices throughout our operations.
