Rhulani Safari Lodge announces that we have a new Head Guide. Known in the industry as "Captain No-Beard," he replaces his long-time predecessor, "Captain Redbeard." Both are known as "Alasdair Armstrong."
All joking aside, our guests truly didn't recognize our beloved Alasdair after his transformation, and even we had to do a double take.
The cheerful and always jovial Alasdair joined Rhulani’s team in March 2016. His impressive red beard had been as much a part of him from the start as an elephant's trunk. But as Alasdair told us, "I haven't seen my face in 16 years, and I wanted to check if it was still there!"
Well, captain no-beard is always in a joking mood – hopefully you too, when you are our guest, will see Alasdair's face for the first time and feel his humor, which he brings into our everyday lives.
