Rhulani Minute Safari - Guineafowl flying off

- Wildlife

When startled, the helmeted guineafowl bursts into the air with loud, flapping wings and harsh calls, creating a sudden commotion. Its flight is short and low, usually just enough to reach a nearby tree or ridge for safety. Despite being capable of flight, it prefers to run swiftly on the ground whenever possible.
