The day when an elephant took our camera

At Rhulani's watering hole, at a hidden spot, a photo camera is placed, which captures images automatically when something moves in front of the lens. ... until that day, on which a playful elephant bull discovered the hidden camera with his trunk. "I have found the camera about 200 meters from our waterhole, somewhere in the bushes," says Rhulani's ranger Sean. Sean checks the camera regularly, selects the new photos, publishes them on Facebook, and recharges the battery. "Elephants love to play around with things they find in the bush."

The camera was of course completely destroyed, "It looked as if a truck drove over it," says Sean, with a smile. But in any case we are going to buy a new one, so that we can continue to show specific photos from our waterhole.
