A lively mob of banded mongooses suddenly appeared on the road, trotting purposefully through the bush before passing right in front of our safari vehicle. Curious and fearless, they barely glanced our way as they stayed close together, each one following the next in perfect harmony. Moments like these remind us that every game drive is filled with delightful surprises, where even the smallest residents of Madikwe steal the show.
