Life of a Ranger: Necking giraffes at night

Did you know that two giraffes often line up to demonstrate power and communicate, striking each other with a sweeping movement of their necks? Rhulani's head ranger, Alasdair, found two male giraffes this evening, who demonstrated this peculiar behavior, called "necking," before our very eyes.
