Rhulani Minute Safari - Grazing red hartebeest

- Wildlife

The red hartebeest is a large African antelope well adapted to open grasslands and savannas and it is easy to recognize because of its imposing size, its slightly too long snout and its heart-shaped horns. Its grazing habits are quite specialized and efficient, making it one of the most successful grazers in arid and semi-arid ecosystems.
