Even in the middle of the African bush, access to internet has become a matter of course. This is also the case in Rhulani Safari Lodge. We offer free wifi in all guest rooms and main areas of the lodge. But how good is our internet?

At the end of 2017, we made an important change in our internet setup. The signal which was delivered so far via a satellite was replaced by a fiber bone based microwave solution which became available in July 2017.

This fundamental change (read more here) has brought the expected improvement. A slow network or even a total failure remained the exception, even in bad weather. Our guests generally mention that the wifi is surprisingly good and stable.

Thanks to this success, we have decided to improve our offer once again. We have upgraded our subscription to a 20mbps download speed. This will further improve the velocity with which e-mails can be downloaded, websites opened or videos viewed.
