It’s official. We are HACCP certified!
Now the time has come, the joy is great. We are pleased to announce that Rhulani Safari Lodge has received certification for HACCP standards. This is another important step in our constant striving for the highest quality standards.
What is HAACP?
HACCP or Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points is an internationally recognized method of identifying and managing food safety related risk. Today, many of the world’s best hotels use this system as a basis for their food safety management programs, and Rhulani Safari Lodge is no exception to that.
What does it mean for our guests?
When planning a trip to Africa some travellers are afraid of contracting food poisoning. To reassure them and everyone else, our HACCP certificate proves that Rhulani Safari Lodge applies international standards even when it comes to food safety. Our kitchen is free of harmful bacteria and you can enjoy our fine dining without any concern.
Why did we get the HACCP certification?
Achieving this certification, which is not mandatory in South Africa, reinforces our commitment to providing outstanding quality service. To reach the HACCP certificate, we have implemented plans and procedures to control any potential hazard which may come from raw materials, facility processes, and human error to ensure that food safety has not been compromised during any step. This certification is part of our commitment to quality. If you want to learn more, visit our website.
