SABA Training: International standards combined with local hospitality

  • January 31, 2022 | Rhulani Safari Lodge

Every year the South African Butler Academy (SABA) comes to Rhulani for one week and provides an inspirational and educational practice to our staff, which shapes what our guests experience when they stay with us. This year's course took place mid of January, so that we laid an important foundation for 2022.

The entire Rhulani team took part in this year's SABA training

Rhulani's owner Marisa and our new ranger Willem also attended the course

In our strive of quality, we have relaunched the “Butler Training Program”. Butler training in the wilderness may seem something of an anomaly, however there’s a good reason. The “ballet of service” is executive out here in Madikwe bushveld.

Rhulani’s Standards of Excellence coupled with our unique settings allow us to deliver an unrivaled experience: International standards combined with local hospitality.

Beyond what the butler training means for Rhulani, we offered twenty one members of the community access to high quality training with the respected stamp of SABA. The proud faces of our staff while training the “ballet of service” say it all.

Once again our trainers Mr. Braam West and Ms. Jillian Hunter not only provided high-quality content, but also an inspiring atmosphere. We could hardly have imagined a better start to the year.
