Next successful stage of "Rhulani NEXT" completed
Time flies fast. What a boring statement. But all the more exciting is our project, called "Rhulani NEXT", with which we keep the lodge in good shape, adapting it along with the modernization, but also making sure that we leave the "look & feel" that is appreciated by our guests. In a further stage, which has just been concluded, our designer from Flipswitch Interior Design, Heather Macquisten, did an excellent job again. Have a look!
The main area is the most important visual attraction and an eye-catcher. Looking at our lounge, Heather had the following thoughts: “New modern sofas and décor items will give the room a refreshed, more contemporary feel. An up to date round rug offers a new perspective to the space and a warmer colour palette remains true to the roots of Rhulani.”
On the patio we introduced patterns, textures and complementary colours which create a cohesive look with the lounge area and to the rest of the lodge.
It was also time to give the shared lounge in the Luxury Family Suite a new appearance. As soon as you enter the room, you will notice a striking elephant print that creates a lovely visual impression while the subtle colour palette creates a calm, welcoming look. Wooden furniture items, leather textures and a woven rug add layers to the space, traditional Cameroon shields and local artworks complete the room and are consistent with Rhulani’s luxurious bush lodge feel. The lounge now also has a large flat screen with satellite TV connection, which should be of particular benefit to families with children.
In all guest chalets it was time to replace certain outdated items. Heather says: “Contemporary style bed ottomans and dressing table stools offer an updated look to the chalets while new bed scatters create a revitalized yet uninterrupted look and feel to space.”
We look forward to feedback from you as our future guests!
