Do you think that Rhulani Safari Lodge is located in a barren, dry steppe? Not at all! In our lodge we have large marula trees, which give us delicious fruits, with which our Chef Mavis prepares first-class jam for your perfect breakfast.

The hot summer time is now over, where the marula fruits are mature, and fall from the trees. Mavis, our chef, today tells us how to collect the precious fruits, wash them and process them into a delicious orange-yellow jam.

If you are our guest at Rhulani, try this delicacy for breakfast, or get a glass of Mavis' homemade marula jam in our curio shop, as a souvenir of your stay.
