Rhulani Safari Lodge is a nominee to the 2014 World Luxury Hotel awards

  • February 01, 2014 | Marisa Silva

The World Luxury Hotel Awards reward and congratulate hotels that have excelled beyond the normal call of duty and we are proud to be among them. Let us tell you why.

During last year, we installed wi-fi connection in all chalets and common areas and created an area for children to enjoy themselves during the time between game drives. We appointed two massage therapists to launch a spa menu and built a new and cozy space for the curio shop where you can buy  souvenirs. For the gourmet coffee lovers, we acquired a Nespresso machine and for the connoisseur of fine drinks we engaged a experienced bartender.

“Our thatched roofs smell like the fresh open veld now, you should smell them.” – Marisa Silva, Owner

In November 2013 we closed the lodge for a week in which we executed major maintenance work. We inspected and recombed our genuine thatched roofs  and we painted all our chalets.

Rhulani staff treat guests like royalty and are known for their can-do attitude. This comes in the form of rush order of a curry rice for breakfast, a customized whole day excursion to the East side of the reserve, or simply an extra blanket during a cool night in one of our boma dinner. It’s these tiny details that allow us to achieve the goal of service excellence. This is what the our nomination to the 2014 World Luxury Hotel Awards is celebrating.

We invite you to celebrate with us. Explore our website and discover why we have been nominated to the 2014 World Luxury Hotel awards or take a look the award page. There is a people's choice component to this award so we count on your vote in June, we will keep you posted.
