A brighter future for Supingstad Primary School

- News, Community & Conservation

At Rhulani Safari Lodge, our hearts are always with the community around us. This month, we are proud to share the heartwarming conclusion of a very special project: the successful installation of a new generator at Supingstad Primary School.

For a school that has long struggled with the challenges of loadshedding, this generator is truly life changing. It means that children can now learn in classrooms that stay warm during the cold winter months, they have proper lighting to read and work by, teachers can print the documents and worksheets they need, and the boreholes can pump clean water for the toilets and basins.

This milestone was not achieved by Rhulani alone — it was made possible through a team effort, filled with generosity and dedication. In September, during our fundraising campaign, our wonderful guests and friends opened their hearts to support this cause. We are deeply grateful for every contribution, which turned our vision into a reality.

A very special word of thanks goes to:

  • Karin Steiner & Regula Bischof
  • Steffi & Camillo Schrumpf
  • Mr. Ploederl & family
  • Mr. Weston & family

Your kindness and generosity have brought light, water, and warmth to the children of Supingstad.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Johnny and Frans from Mentek Electrical for their skilled installation, and to our incredible Rhulani Maintenance Team, whose dedication and care ensured everything was completed to the highest standard.

At Rhulani, we are more than just a safari lodge — we are a family that believes in creating brighter futures for those around us. Together, step by step, we will continue to make a difference.
