Rhulani Insights 082 – Free wifi for Rhulani's guests
Look behind the scenes of Rhulani Safari Lodge.
Some people say it is sad that the internet is available in safari lodges, as part of the bush feeling gets lost. Others say a wifi access nowadays is just a commodity and a "must" in a five star hotel. Anyway, surfing the web is as normal today as brushing your teeth - even in Rhulani.
And today's blog is devoted to this topic. The time of unstable, weather-dependent Internet, and with slow performance due to limited capacity from a satellite is over. A fiber-based connection, transported to the Lodge with microwave technology, provides access at similar quality to what you have at home.
At Rhulani each private guest chalet has its own router, and in the main lodge area there is also wifi access everywhere. And all this is for free. Let's take a look at a test that Rolf is running with his computer in the bar.
