Walking for Rhinos takes place on the 22 September 2019
Madikwe Game Reserve announces that this year's edition of "Walking for Rhinos" will take place on Sunday morning of 22 September 2019. All visitors staying at Rhulani Safari Lodge on this day are invited to attend this special event - at no extra charge.
This year's date coincides precisely with the "World Rhino Day", which serves to celebrate all species of this unique mammal, and to highlight the great threats and challenges which this endangered animal is facing.
Information stands provide information on the topic, and a demonstration of the park’s anti-poaching unit illustrates the relentless fight against poachers. An approximately 5 km long walk in the early morning hours in Madikwe Game Reserve rounds off the program.
Rhulani Safari Lodge is actively involved in this unique event, with all our guests also being able to participate, at no extra charge. If you are interested, we kindly ask you to plan your stay so that you book the night of the 21st of September. We currently still have availability.
