We are honored to announce that Rhulani Safari Lodge has won the trophy of the "Best Luxury Bush Lodge - Global Winner" for the sixth time in a row at the "World Luxury Hotel Awards". Rhulani's owners proudly received the award at the gala ceremony last Saturday.

The winners of the annual World Luxury Hotel Awards were announced on 12 October 2019 at a glitzy affair at Arctic TreeHouse Hotel and SantaPark in Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland. This was the thirteenth event of its kind and more than 300 guests flew in from around the world to celebrate their awards.

Rhulani's owner Rolf & Marisa with the children Timo and Luca traveled to the region of the Arctic Circle for this occasion to personally receive the trophy.

The World Luxury Hotel Awards recognize establishments for world-class service excellence. Awards are presented on a country, regional, continent and global basis. Winners are selected by public vote online, providing true recognition that reflects the hard work and dedication exhibited by staff.

In addition to the glittering gala, the special atmosphere invited to explore the beautiful nature of Lapland. Although we did not get to see the famous “Aurora Borealis” due to the snowfall, we visited the post office of Santa Clause, whom we also got to meet in person, we fed reindeer, crossed the Arctic Circle and went for a walk with the huskies.
