Today's blog should be a short reminder to all our guests that in Madikwe the animals always come first, and that you should then drive slowly to Rhulani safari Lodge. You will see many things and enjoy the pleasant ride through the reserve!

And maybe you'll see - as Rolf does it today - your first big animal. A giraffe stands very close to the road and looks curiously at us. It is time to crank down the window and make your first safari photo.

The 7km route from the Wonderboom Gate to the lodge entrance is the only opportunity where you can drive in your own car through the reserve. So, enjoy this ride, and again, drive slowly, before you are welcomed by our Rhulani team.
