Boma Dinner – Outdoor Dining Experience around the Fireplace

  • December 09, 2016 | Rhulani Safari Lodge

I always love the atmosphere when Rhulani’s guests are getting spoilt with a Boma Dinner. The “Boma” is an outdoor dining area, mostly round-shaped, with a fireplace.

As usual, the dedicated staff at Rhulani Safari Lodge in Madikwe have put a lot of love in decorating the tables and setting up this outdoor dining experience underneath the African stars.

Lanterns light the way to the Boma area. Just sit down, relax and enjoy the different sounds of the South African bush around you. The cracking of the fire and the smell of freshly prepared food will make this a perfect end to an exciting day filled with safaris and game viewing at Rhulani.

Enjoy delcious food that is prepared as a “braai” (barbecue). Last night, you could choose between mouth-watering Potato Salad or Greek Salad and meat, like Oxtail, Lamb Chops, Sausages or Chicken. If you have any special dietary requirements, please just let Rhulani’s staff know upfront – they are happy to prepare a special meal just for you. You can also chose between fine wine and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

A special treat is to witness Rhulani’s staff singing and dancing for the safari guests before dessert is served.

Enjoy this South African outdoor dining experience in the warm evening air – the Boma Dinner clearly adds to your Safari Experience at Rhulani Lodge in Madikwe Game Reserve.
