New Year’s Eve at Rhulani – Happy New Year
New Year’s Eve at Rhulani Safari Lodge in Madikwe was celebrated with a South African Braai (Barbecue) in the Boma Area. Guests could first enjoy the local dance group “Dikwena” performing for them around the fire and then choose from tasty grilled meats and salads.

A surprise was waiting for Rhulani Safari Lodge’s guests on New Year’s Eve – local Dance Group “Dikwena” was welcoming them at the lodge entrance. The group was performing a short traditional dance after the safari guests came back from their New Year’s Eve Game Drive.

A Welcome Drink was also waiting for the guests as well as a beautiful set-up with candles and lanterns. Rhulani’s guests could enjoy and Outdoor Dinner on New Year’s Eve - a typical South African Braai (Barbecue) in the Boma area.

We were also joined by a group of Elephants at Rhulani Safari Lodge’s waterhole – they also wanted to celebrate the New Year with us. Safari guests could sit back and relax in a big chair with comfy pillows and enjoy the waterhole view at night – before the New Year was approaching.
Happy New Year - 2017
I hope you all enjoyed your New Year’s Eve celebration and had a wonderful start into the New Year. I wish you all a very happy and healthy New Year - may all your dreams come true for 2017 (and beyond).
