Rhulani Insights 019 - Game views: Take a break

  • November 16, 2014 | Rolf Steiner

Look behind the scenes of Rhulani Safari Lodge.

A welcome part of the afternoon game drive is the deserved break in the middle of the bush, the so-called "sundowner". Let's have a a beer with Rolf and enjoy the sunset!

Game views: Take a break

Despite the wild beauty of the wildlife in Madikwe and the desire of our guests, to discover as many animals as possible on drive, a short, quiet break is always welcome. The sundowner is the moment where you descend from the vehicle to stretch your legs and enjoy a magnificent sunset in the quiet African savannah, with a drink. In addition, many guests will experience for the first time this special feeling, where you are part of a unique environment without any barriers.

In today's episode we learn from Chris that wild animals could potentially join the sundowners as well, and therefore the site must be selected carefully.

Stay tuned for next episode on Sunday 30 November 2014, when we will smell the dung of an elephant.
