Rhulani Insights 023 - Sundowners with a rhino

  • February 22, 2015 | Rhulani Safari Lodge

Look behind the scenes of Rhulani Safari Lodge and feel the bush.

In episode 19 we already made a short drink stop at the afternoon game drive. Today, let us participate for a second time in a special sundowner, which is one of the most beautiful moments of Rhulani's everyday life.

This afternoon, the sundowner is very special not only because of the beautiful evening light and the delicious meatballs prepared by Rhulani's chefs. Very quietly and peacefully, a very special guest joins us, namely a big white rhino. It is a clear sign that we are taking a break in the middle of the bush and no boundaries exist between us and the fascinating environment of Madikwe, which is the home of more than 60 different species of mammals. The white rhino is so relaxed that we tend to forget that it is one of the dangerous "Big 5".
