Rhulani Insights 033 – A swim in Rhulani’s natural pool

  • September 20, 2015 | Rhulani Safari Lodge

Look behind the scenes of Rhulani Safari Lodge.

One of the many wonderful summer days in "sunny South Africa". Hot temperatures, the sun is high in the sky, and there is a lot of time to rest between the two game drives. Is there anything better than to cool a bit down in the pool?

Beside the individual plunge pools in your private chalet, in Rhulani’s communal area there is a deck with a swimming pool. It is a true natural pool, milled into the subsoil of hard dolomites, with a curved shape, which is perfectly integrated into the general Rhulani design. From here you have a beautiful view to the waterhole, and with a bit of luck, you will see a wild animal passing by.

Join Rolf in today's episode for a refreshing swim, and an equally refreshing drink, prepared and served by Ernest, Rhulani's Barman.

“This life is like a swimming pool. You dive into the water, but you can't see how deep it is.” – Dennis Rodman, Basketball player

Stay tuned for next episode on Sunday 4 October 2015 when we are at one of Madikwe’s most beautiful spots: the Thlou Dam.
