Rhulani Insights 035 – A warm welcome to arriving guests

  • November 01, 2015 | Rhulani Safari Lodge

Look behind the scenes of Rhulani Safari Lodge

The trip to Madikwe is sometimes tiring especially for our international guests: Overnight flight from overseas, and then an approximately 4.5 hour drive from Johannesburg to the northwest.

On arrival at Rhulani you will have the arduous journey quickly forgotten, and can now recover from the rigors of travel. As you know, Rhulani means “relax”. Our "reception committee" is awaiting you at the entrance, and offers a warm reception: refreshment cloth, a fruity drink, singing staff, and of course a friendly smile. The warm South African sun, a light breeze and an extraordinary silence out here in nature, create a relaxing atmosphere: "Welcome to Rhulani".

“A smile is the universal welcome.” – Max Eastman, Writer

In todays episode, check out with Rolf, how a group of guests from Brazil is received by our team. Perhaps you too will soon be welcomed by us?

Stay tuned for next episode on Sunday 15 November 2015, when the room is prepared for going to sleep.
