Rhulani Insights 036 – Wonderful turn down at Rhulani

  • November 15, 2015 | Rhulani Safari Lodge

Look behind the scenes of Rhulani Safari Lodge.

A day at Rhulani has many highlights: morning coffee, spectacular safaris, relaxing hours, sundowners in the African bush, elegant dinner at the boma fire and much more. Even at the very end of the day, returning to your private chalet in the dark is a wonderful experience.

Your room is pleasantly prepared by the so-called "turn-down”. The warm, yellow light creates a cozy atmosphere. Little "we care touches" decorate the room. In winter blazes the warm, red glow in the closed morso fireplace. The decorative mosquito curtain is drawn around your bed. On the linen a final greeting from Rhulani before you switch off the lights.

After a long day in the fresh air with many impressions our guests fall happily and tired into bed. You will sleep deeply in perfect tranquility, until the morning wake-up call wakes you up for another exciting day.

“Each day is a little life: every waking and rising a little birth, every fresh morning a little youth, every going to rest and sleep a little death.” – Arthur Schopenhauer, Philiosopher

Join in today's episode Rolf in the final minutes before bedtime and take a look at the warmly decorated rooms.

Stay tuned for next episode on Sunday 29 November 2015, when we talk about the rhino situation in Madikwe.
