Look behind the scenes of Rhulani Safari Lodge.

The temperature variations in this region of South Africa from morning to night, between summer and winter, are sometimes considerable. But even without those variations the management of kitchen, food and beverage in a 5 star lodge requires stable, cool environment and maximum hygiene.

In today's episode we make with Rolf a short visit to Rhulani’s cooler room, which is located in the rear kitchen area. Here our fresh food products and food basics are stored at constant, cool temperatures. There is also a clear storage and labeling system in place and of course, absolute cleanliness.
