Look behind the scenes of Rhulani Safari Lodge.

Every morning at 7:30 am, all employees come together behind the kitchen for the staff meeting. The day starts with a prayer, spoken or sung, while our guests are on game drive.

It is a wonderful way to start the day, to be sure that all our employees are doing well, to celebrate yesterday’s successes, and to prepare for the specific challenges of the new day. Do we have new guests arriving today? Do our guests have something to celebrate? Who has special dietary requirements? Which room have maintenance issues? Where will we set up for dinner tonight? Are there any complaints from guests we need to resolve?

So we start a new day according to the guiding principle: Yesterday will be jealous of today!
