Rhulani Insights 071 - Fedair boarding

  • July 23, 2017 | Rhulani Safari Lodge

Look behind the scenes of Rhulani Safari Lodge.

In the second part of the flight experience with Fedair we accompany Rolf on the way from the departure lounge to the boarding of the airplane. The journey from Johannesburg to Rhulani Safari Lodge on the fastest route can begin.

The plane, which flies every day to Madikwe and transports a part of the guests to Rhulani, is quite small, as there are only a few guests today.

Our pilot Sean has made the aircraft ready for take-off and welcomes us before boarding. We will soon be on the runway of the international airport OR Tambo, heading north-west. The flight will take about 45 minutes.

“Airplane travel is nature's way of making you look like your passport photo.” – Al Gore, 45th Vice President of the United States

Stay tuned for next episode on Sunday 6 August 2017 showing you the third and last chapter from the Fedair flight experience, when we land on the Madikwe West airstrip.
