Rhulani Insights 153 – Travelling in times of COVID-19

  • December 06, 2020 | Rhulani Safari Lodge

Look behind the scenes of Rhulani Safari Lodge.

Since the end of October, the borders to South Africa have been reopened for all countries. The only condition is a negative PCR COVID-19 test not older than 72 hours, which you must present upon entry. Rhulani's owner Rolf tried it himself and traveled to South Africa at the beginning of December without any problems. He talks about his experiences.

If you feel healthy and have the required COVID-19 test result with you, the journey is fairly easy and relaxing, despite the ongoing pandemic.

Perhaps you are considering vacationing in South Africa and visiting Rhulani during the cold winter months in Europe. Due to the low booking levels, there are good availabilities and offers. We have also created special conditions to reduce the risk of cancellation should your trip have to be postponed at short notice. Look for more details here.

We recommend all travelers to find out about the current situation and entry requirements for South Africa before departure.
