Look behind the scenes of Rhulani Safari Lodge.

Today is a great day in the over 20 year history of Rhulani Safari Lodge. We are celebrating the completion of the solar project, and together with Kyle, director of “Blockpower”, we are officially putting the solar system into operation today and at the same time saying goodbye to the grid. From now on, the sun, solar panels, batteries and, as a final back-up, a generator will provide power at Rhulani.

Especially for Rhulani’s owner Rolf, this moment was a big goal that the entire Rhulani team has been working towards for years. The interim pandemic has slowed down the schedule, but not our conviction that the future will lie in renewable energies.

Together with Rhulani's managers Sean and Shade, and of course with a chilled bottle of sparkling wine, we're flipping the magic switch today. Enjoy a big and celebrate with us!
