Rhulani Minute Safari - Elephants prefer fresh water
Thlou Dam in Madikwe is a fairly large water reservoir, where there is plenty of space for the animals for a drink stop. But the elephants know exactly where the dam is powered by fresh water, and thus they preferably romp about in the fresh water source.
