Welcome to the "Ferrari Safari"

  • May 29, 2018 | Rhulani Safari Lodge

A safari is a cozy, relaxing activity. Slowly you drive through the wild landscape, enjoy the peace, looking for animals. But it may be that your Ranger suddenly presses the gas pedal down and rushes away. Welcome to your «Ferrari Safari».

Just in time to find a coalition of 4 cheetahs

We find the wild dog pack still on the road

Of course, he does so only with the consent of all guests, and he still respects the maximum speed limit in the reserve and the safety of the animals.

However, a spectacular sighting opportunity may be reported in a very different corner of the park, and it is not certain that the animal will stay there long, which is reported as "non-static" over the radio.

For example, a leopard, which is on a tree, but there are signs soon he will come down. Or a pack of wild dogs, which, as always, rushes through the bush very quickly and one could soon lose contact with them. Or cheetahs that are going to hunt in a direction of rough terrain where there is no way through, not even for our 4x4 Landcruiser.

Maybe these are just animals that our guests have not seen yet during their stay, and it is a unique opportunity. So, hold on and let’s go!

Take a look at our two videos, where we once saw the cheetahs and another time, thanks to a fast ride, we were able to find the wild dog pack just in time.
