Rhulani Minute Safari - White rhino in the dry grass

After an intense rainy season until April the grass in Madikwe is slightly higher than normal. Here we find this magnificent white rhino male, as he walks peacefully in the completely dried up, but still very high grass. He is not at all disturbed by us, so watch him for a minute!

A pride of lion has successfully killed a blue wildebeest. They have already filled their bellies, and now they are staying close by for quite a while. They sleep next to the prey, keep other predators away, they lick each other, play around, and from time to time they go back to the skeleton and see if there is still some meat on it.

Rhino Walk 2017: All Rhulani guests participated

It was the annual recurring event in Madikwe Game Reserve, exactly one day after the “World Rhino Day”: a 5km long walk through the reserve, enriched with many activities to raise awareness and funds to protect the endangered rhinos. All guests of Rhulani Safari Lodge participated.
