We often see blue wildebeest, impala and zebra making friends. Here we find them enjoying time together right next to and on our road.

If you don’t want to do a fly-in you can also choose a self-drive option to Rhulani Safari Lodge in Madikwe Game Reserve. Your entrance will be the Wonderboom Gate, which can be reached via the R49 towards Gaborone (Botswana). The moment you are driving through the gate you are entering Big Five country – so be prepared for a mini safari on the way to the lodge.

Thanks to the abundant rainfall, the dams in Madikwe have filled up completely. The elephants are now able not only to spray, but they can now enjoy themselves with a real bath. It’s just gorgeous to see these swimming and having fun with each other!
