I have seen my first Baby Giraffe on my very first Game Drive with Rhulani Lodge in November 2016. On a sunny afternoon in Madikwe Game Reserve - in the warm sunlight - a Giraffe and her young one crossed the road right in front of us –to join some of their friends that were standing around a bush on the left side of the road.

For a long while, I tried to get a picture of the Warthog Mom with their little Piglets. I spotted them at Rhulani’s waterhole and also while driving from the Wonderboom Gate towards the lodge - or even at the pool area. But I either didn’t have a camera with me or they were running away too quickly. Now, I finally succeeded.

Full Moon Drumming for Madikwe Rhinos

Sean again – he found Tsala, a Female Leopard (Alasdair “off-roaded” us there)

It’s just a usual day in the “office” for Sean. He’ s taking Rhulani’s safari guests on a morning game drive in Madikwe Game Reserve – and besides spotting Cheetahs and other fascinating wildlife, he finds a Leopard on a Marula Tree. This time it’s “Tsala”, a female Leopard.
