Winter time means for us a bit of tranquility in Madikwe Reserve, shorter days, cool nights, but lots of sunshine. For many years, we have closely followed the development of the cheetahs in Madikwe. At Rhulani, we are primarily interested in helping the reserve get its own offspring for the first time, and we have offered sponsorships for new female cheetahs. Time for a short update.

The month of April was quite busy for us as a result of Easter and holiday time. Often our lodge was fully booked. The animal observations remained at a consistently good level, which is proven by the daily statistics. We would like to specifically mention a non-everyday caracal sighting here.
